Couture says Democrats unconstitutional income tax will feed more reckless spending, harm Washington state
After House Republicans staged an unprecedented fight to try to stop the Democrat’s income tax that included tacking some 80 amendments onto the bill and a debate that went non-stop for nearly 25 hours, House Republican Budget Leader Rep. Travis Couture, R-Allyn, explained why the uncosntitutional tax was a terrible bill that will lead to capital flight and cause even problems for small businessess and working Washingtonians already struggling in an affordability crisis.
