Dan Griffey and Travis Couture share priorities for 2026 session on KMAS


During the first week of the 2026 session, Rep. Dan Griffey, R-Allyn, and Travis Couture, R-Allyn, joined KMAS to talk about their priorities for the session. Griffey pointed to his ongoing work to protect communities from sexually violent predators and his latest effort to ensure impaired drivers are held accountable. Couture, the House Republican budget leader, shared his concerns with the majority party’s spending and yet more new taxes being proposed in 2026.
