Rep. Travis Couture delivers passionate speech on public safety

From the House Floor, Rep. Travis Couture, R-Allyn, delivers a fiery speech as he argues in favor of an amendment to allow law enforcement and prosecutors access to footage from traffic safety cameras around the state. The amendment was attached to House Bill 2384, which would allow expanded use of the cameras permanently. Couture explained crimes caught by the cameras would be crucial in addressing Washington’s public safety crisis.
