‘A huge attack on my district:’ Rep. Travis Couture responds on KVI’s Ari Hoffman Show to proposed bill that would ban small gas-powered engines in Washington

Rep. Travis Couture, R-Allyn, says a bill prefiled on Dec. 5 in Olympia seeking to ban any gasoline engines of 25 horse power or less, including chainsaws, is “a huge attack on my district.” Couture represents the 35th District, including Mason County, which is heavily forested. Couture told KVI’s Ari Hoffman House Bill 1868 could be devastating to the timber industry.
