Empower families and protect children

Family comes first. As a father, I understand the importance of family and the responsibility that comes with feeding, clothing, educating, and caring for kids. We need better outcomes for families in the 35th District and across Washington state.

Reduce your cost of living

With the rising cost of living, lawmakers should oppose new taxes, lower existing taxes, and reduce unnecessary rules and regulations that are hurting the economy.

Make communities safer

We need safe communities. For that to happen, our state needs more well-funded and trained law enforcement professionals, emergency medical technicians, and firefighters,

Deliver critical infrastructure for rural communities

Too often, the infrastructure needs of rural areas of Washington are neglected. Delivering funds for the many critical infrastructure needs around the 35th District is one of my top priorities.

A U.S. Navy Veteran, Rep. Travis Couture understands what service and sacrifice mean. He patrolled the Pacific as a submariner while stationed with Ballistic Missile Submarines USS Alabama and USS Nebraska, successfully completing multiple strategic deterrence patrols.
